Tres Amigos Mexican Restaurant in Fort Dodge

It's decent Mexican food. Pretty good when you consider it's Iowa and it's Fort Dodge. Fort Dodge is a small city and Iowa definitely isn't known for amazing Mexican food. I will definitely go back.

Waitress barely spoke english didn't understand what we were asking about then all of a sudden after we ate she knew what we were asking for wasn't even busy and cups didn't stay full food was delucious tho

Food was good, facility could use some attention.

Only one waiter for the place. Asked for a high chair for my 1yr old son, which never got brought. And not all of the food came out till it was asked for. Usually don't leave negative comments. But the waiter reportedly walking by and not bringing the high chair was rather irritating

came into this place on one of our let's try a different place adventures. the staff is friendly. service was prompt and food was hot and delicious..we will return over and over again.

Had the quesadilla with so called pastor and try the jalapenos with bacon. It was far to expensive for the quality of food. This is very americanized flavor. Food wasn't bad but it definitely wasn't mexican.

Great food at a reasonable price

The food and service was outstanding. This is a pretty good place to go if you want a nice sit down meal with the family. However I recommend going early in the day as it's also a bar at night and if you want to avoid that typical bar type of scene and noise.

Compared to other authentic restaurants in this area this one is by far at the bottom. The service was good but the food itself was not. They have maybe five spots in the back of the place which is right by the kitchen and the "bar." Which happens to be where we were seated even though there was several open spots in the front. We couldn't even talk to each other over the sound of the blender and the kitchen staff. Also the booth was very dirty and it moved when you attempted to move. The hot sauce was so crusty the lid broke off. I figured I would order some nachos to be safe so I wouldn't waste my money you can't go wrong with nacho right. Well apparently you can. Beside my waitress I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

We go here alot. Great food. Great, fast service. Nice people. Quiet. Nothing fancy. At the top of our list for Mexican.

I love going here. Food comes out fast and tasty. Drinks are generous. The cheese cake chimichanga is excellent.

This is one of the best places to eat in Fort Dodge! The margaritas are amazing, the food is mouth watering and the service is outstanding! Would highly recommend you try it!

Loved my lunch today. Service was great. This is a little gem everyone should try. My only complaint is their is so munch to choose from i have difficult time deciding. The margaritas are fantastic. I love the hodgepodge decor with the Mexican feel.

Too much melted cheese on the beans. The seasoned meat was delicious, but the chili rellanos was a bit sad.

Usually we've had good experiences with Tres Amigos, and they had a wonderful carside pickup system when this pandemic began. We just tried to use it today, and we were told they stopped doing it! Two days after an infection at another restaurant here in town led to a death!We mentioned how we have high-risk people in our family but still want to support local businesses, but we were told it wasn't an option & they wouldn't accommodate. Very telling.

I normally love going to this place but the music was so loud (6/12/2020) that my husband and I couldnt even hear each other talk.

Good Mexican food! Not great, not bad either, just good. The service was really fast and the waitress quite nice. However it took us forever to get the check. The drinks and the food are quite cheap. The place could look a little nicer/authentic.

Best authentic Mexican food around los tres amigos can be my amigo any day of the week amazing food and great prices staff is very friendly and considerate and the bud light was always on point would recommend to anyone in the mood for great Mexican food
